“We love to share our secrets of healthy aging: do what you love, do it with friends, do it with food, stay active in body, mind, and spirit, always be near a bathroom, and accept life as your friend!”, were Trish Alley’s words of wisdom when accepting the 5th Annual Healthy Aging Program Champion Award from the Governor on October 12th. In November, the Senior Trotters will be traveling to the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts to watch the Lyric Theater’s musical performance of Peter Pan. Just as Peter Pan refuses to “grow old”, so too are the Senior Trotters committed to staying youthful and (most importantly) having fun. Senior Trotter Director Terrie Keppel has a strong sense of what the Trotters enjoy for their outings. She is committed to assisting individuals as they explore personal growth through introspection, self-empowerment and expanded capacity for living a joyful, compassionate life. For more information about the Flynn Center trip and other upcoming Senior Trotter events, please contact Terrie by calling 533-7171. All trips are $15 per person (food and transportation included).
